A now page. I only recently learned what these are, but it seems very cool. Check the link if you're unsure what the deal is. See below for updates.

HexSwarm Patch 1.1 is in progress, but side projects have started to pile up. A new tool was created to make life easier (released on itch right now), and a new game project spawned on the side with serious momentum and collaborator involvement.

Benched

The biggest bench-holder at the moment is our second game, Trials of Thornroot Glade. Its shaping up to be a third person puzzle adventure game. It doesn't have a project page yet, but development has started. Ha ha ha, holy shit did that get benched hard. The new project is a hex based advance wars style game. more information soon

I briefly got bit to play some ORX because i think i'm physically incapable of not playing a tower defense. It's an amazing blend of roguelike deckbuilder and literally just Carcassone. It's not quite 1.0 yet but it seems to be inching closer, and the most recent time i played they'd done an excellent job making the UI for hte cards more understandable.

With a hilarious combo, i've also been playing Sir, We Have an Orc Problem. Which is really funny because that's two tower defense games about orcs in a row. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice. Orc Problem is basically a fluid flow simulator but with orcs instead of water and while it's super short, it was fun enough for me to grab 100% achivements.

I've also somehow gotten stuck playing Helldivers again. I am LARPing by taking the shovel from entrenched division and the HMG strategem. I will dig that trench and shoot the bots and you can't stop me. The flaw is that i want an incindiary mortar but the game doesn't have it and my solution to problems that shape recently have been to make the thing.
